Shortage of PARACETAMOL KABI paracetamol 1000mg/100mL

Dear Healthcare Professional,

Shortage of PARACETAMOL KABI paracetamol 1000mg/100mL solution for injection in freeflex bag (AUST R: 218687) and PARACETAMOL KABI paracetamol 1000mg/100mL solution for injection vial (AUST R: 203624) and alternate supply arrangement under Section 19A of the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989.

The above Australian registered medicines sponsored by Fresenius Kabi Australia Pty Ltd are currently in shortage due to manufacturing issues.

Pro Pharmaceuticals Group has arranged for the supply of an alternative product, PARACETAMOL S.A.L.F 10mg/mL (1000mg/100mL) solution for infusion bottle (Israel). This product is NOT registered in Australia and supply is authorised under an exemption granted by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) under section 19A of the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 until 31st October 2024
